Beatrice Malenga Mabhena joined FMBcapital Holdings plc as Group Chief Financial Officer in April 2026.

She is a seasoned finance executive with more than 26 years of experience across Africa and the Middle East, spanning the Telecommunications, Financial Services, FMCG and Not-for-Profit sectors. Throughout her career, she has successfully led finance transformation, business turnaround and growth initiatives within complex, highly regulated operating environments.

Prior to joining FMBcapital Holdings, Beatrice served as Chief Financial Officer of Vodacom Mozambique and Vodafone M-Pesa. She has also held a number of senior finance leadership roles across the region, including with Airtel Malawi and Zain Group in the Middle East and Africa.

Beatrice is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a Fellow of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (FZICA). She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Finance from Manchester Business School and has completed executive education programmes at Harvard Business School.
